As therapists, people come to us to help them overcome problems. Included in these problems are those which are sexual in nature. Many times the presenting problem may be something else, but when the real problem is discussed, it turns out to be a sexual problem. To be better prepared to help those people, we should aware of physical and emotion sexuality. As there is physical (direct) and emotional (indirect) suggestibility, there is also physical and emotional sexuality. When I learned about physical and emotional sexuality, it helped not only my counseling but also my personal understanding of sexuality.
